Recently, the state officially released the revised \u201cLaw on the Safety of Hazardous Chemicals,\u201d which will take full effect on May 1, 2026. For the first time, this law explicitly includes mineral processing extractants (such as xanthates, black drugs, and frothing agents) in the full life-cycle regulatory system for high-risk chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The core provisions of the new regulations require manufacturers and users to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.Registration and Filing for All Employees<\/strong>: Maintain a medication ledger; implement a two-person system for receiving, dispatching, and issuing medications; and retain records of the entire process for at least 3 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Hardware Security Upgrade<\/strong>: Warehouses must be equipped with explosion-proof devices, leak detection alarms, and emergency containment systems; warning signs must comply with the latest GB 13690 standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.Mandatory Logistics Licenses<\/strong>: For the transportation phase, Class A hazardous chemicals certification must be obtained; vehicles must be equipped with a GPS tracking system and hold a valid permit to operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For our company, the new law presents not only a challenge but also an opportunity.
